Our founder, Myron Johnson, discovered the power of connection and community impact at a single-digit age, watching his uncle play lead guitar for KC and the Sunshine Band during band practice. That pivotal moment sparked a lifelong passion for using entertainment and creativity to make a meaningful difference. From hosting weekly puppet shows in third grade to leading "The Clean Team" – a youth initiative that brought young people together to serve senior citizens through weekly yard cleanups – Myron learned early that small actions could create ripple effects of positive change. His journey through entertainment, from fronting the Miami-based band Phantasm and recording at TK Production to hosting "Miami Jams Music Video Show," taught him the profound impact of amplifying voices and stories that matter. The Fine Print Project Inc. was born from this deeply personal journey that evolved into a mission to transform youth mental health awareness.
Our mission is to empower and uplift the mental well-being of children and teens by raising awareness, breaking stigmas, and promoting early intervention through impactful public service announcements, school-based outreach, and community education.
To create a generation of mentally healthy, empowered youth who are equipped to recognize, address, and advocate for mental wellness in their communities.
Educational Programs & Outreach We bring mental health awareness directly to young people through school programs, community events, and peer-to-peer education initiatives focused on ADHD awareness and general mental wellness for children and teens aged 9-18.Public Service Announcements Using the power of media and storytelling, we create impactful PSAs that break down stigma and normalize conversations about mental health among youth.Scholarship Opportunities We award 5 annual scholarships of $1,000-$5,000 each to support future mental health professionals, investing in the next generation of advocates and caregivers.Community Partnerships We collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations throughout the Atlanta area to create comprehensive support networks for youth mental health.Youth Voice Amplification We believe young people are the most powerful advocates for their own mental wellness. Our programs center youth leadership and peer support.
Serving the Atlanta, Georgia area, The Fine Print Project is building a movement where mental health conversations are normalized, resources are accessible, and young people feel empowered to seek help and support their peers.
